Wireless Communications is a field that has experienced
tremendous growth and excitement over the past few decades. It has truly
revolutionized the way people and devices communicate with each other.
Visions of wireless technology extend from sensor networks to automated
roads. In order to realize these visions, researchers are working diligently to address many important issues at hand. Interesting and challenging problems arise from all levels of system design. The Wireless Networking and Communications Laboratory (WNCL) is an active lab that conducts research in the broad field of wireless communications to tackle specific technical issues.
