Prospective Students
Admissions are closed for the academic year 2010-11.
My area of research falls in the intersection of electrical engineering, computer science, applied math and operations research. A good mathematical background is essential, and knowledge of the applied world is also useful. Students with strong backgrounds in networking, communication, optimization or control are encouraged to apply.
If interested, please contact me approximately between November 15, 2010 and Jan 15, 2011. Please send your resume, and preferably, a copy of your transcripts by email to Dr. Shakkottai (ID: sshakkot at Domain: tamu.edu).
I wish I had time to respond to every student that sends me email, but unfortunately I don't. However, I will certainly look at your materials. You will also need to apply formally, and the details of this process are given below.
