  • Graduate student Omar Urquidez co-authored a paper with Professor Xie and received Best Paper Award in North American Power Symposium at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in September 2012. Congratulations Omar!
  • Professor Le Xie received the National Science Foundation CAREER award in January 2012, for his proposed project on "Systematic Multi-scale Integration of Physics-based and Data-driven Models of Distributed Resources for Enabling Ubiquitous Energy Storage Services in Power Systems".
  • Check out the Texas A&M Energy Club website, a campus-wide student organization that focuses on energy. Professor Xie serves as the founding faculty advisor.
